Anna is beginning her 4th academic year with Metro Chicago Hillel. She began working at UIC her first year as an Engagement Associate, then moved to the opposite end of the city to work at Loyola for the past two years as their Director of Jewish Life. This year, Anna is thrilled to be Metro Chicago Hillel’s Director of Engagement. She hails from Wilmette, Illinois and now lives in the North Center neighborhood. Anna graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana as their first Jewish Studies Major. Recently, she completed courses for her Master's in Jewish Experiential Education through Hebrew College, and now can be found slaving away on her capstone thesis. Anna also has extensive experience working in the Jewish day camp world and local synagogues as an experiential educator, in addition to being an alumni of Hillel International’s inaugural cohort of the Ezra Fellowship. In her free time, Anna loves singing and playing guitar, exploring estate sales with her husband, watching Netflix documentaries, and looking at dream houses online (it's addictive!).
