Melissa Prober is a creating, dedicated, passionate, progressive advocate with a passion for equity and social justice. Melissa was born in Missouri, grew up in the Chicago suburbs, received her B.A. (double major in theatre and communications) from Indiana University, and received her J.D from University of Illinois College of Law.

Melissa is a Jack (or Jill)-of-all-trades having spent the last 15+ years developing skills in program planning and implementation, nonprofit operations, and communications. Most recently, Melissa served as the Executive Director of the National Council of Jewish Women Chicago North Shore Section where she excelled at juggling multiple tasks, putting out fires, and sometimes juggling things that are on fire.

Melissa lives in the Chicago area with her husband Josh. She has two children in college who will someday change the world.
