Join us in a Celebration of the diversity of Judaism- 

Sigd is a holiday unique to the Beta Israel- the Jews of Ethiopia - learn about the holiday's origins, its tradition and the triumphs and tribulations of African Jews in modernity.

We will be joined by Ms. Simcha Masala, of Northwestern University who will give an interactive presentation about Sigd and the larger topic of Ethiopian Jewish culture and the African Jewish experience.
