Kumzits In The Suburbs @ Anna's home in Wilmette
Kumzits is a compound-word in Hebrew derived from the Yiddish words "koom"-"come" and "zeetz"- "sit." The word is used to describe an evening gathering where we come together and sing. Join us for a memorable havdala at Anna's family's home in Wilmette (see where she grew up)! We will sing songs, both old and new - Jewish, secular, folk, rock… you name it! We will schmooze and nosh, too. Bring your guitars, mandolins, ukes, banjos, drums, harmonicas, hands, feet, and voices, and be ready for a wonderful, musical time!
We will be joined by Congregation Hakafa for this program.
Please email Anna at Anna@metrochicagohillel.org for her address or with questions.
