Lily Kleinman has been a part of the Hillel community since the moment she walked into the UIC Hillel building on the first day of her freshman year. She believes that the students, dedicated staff, and leaders of Hillel all play a huge role in shaping her experience with Hillel. Lily is starting her second year as president of the student board at UIC Hillel, and as president it is her mission to build on the community that UIC Hillel has already established and continue to make Hillel feel like a home away from home for all Jewish students on campus. Lily is pursuing a career in marketing and previously held the position of assistant to the director of the Lewis Summer Intern Program at the Jewish United Fund. Lily is looking forward to making the most out of her senior year at UIC with Metro Chicago Hillel.
