  • Masa Israel Teaching Fellows is a ten month fellowship for college graduates who want to make a difference. On this program you will have the opportunity to teach English from the perspective of a native English speaker to Israelis from a variety of communities that fall into the socio-economic periphery of Israel. These communities include Secular Jews, Religious Jews, Arab-Israeli Muslims, Arab-Israeli Christians and Israeli Bedouins.

    As a Masa Israel Teaching Fellow (MITF) you will contribute to the future success of Israeli children in the socio-economic periphery. Teaching native English makes a real difference in these communities where the simple ability to speak English opens the doors to a whole new world of job opportunities and paths to success.   • The Jewish Service Corps is an immersive service year program for changemakers ages 21-26 ready to launch their careers in social justice work. Corps Members spend a year serving full-time at a local non-profit in Chicago, New Orleans, New York, or Washington, DC while living and learning in pluralistic, justice-oriented Jewish community.   • The Shamayim Campus Fellowship is a program that gives Jewish vegetarian and vegan college students the tools and support they need to educate their communities about animal advocacy.

    Through the Shamayim Campus Fellowship, students learn valuable leadership skills, educate themselves and their peers about animal advocacy, and create a lasting change in their communities. A campus fellow will have the opportunity to work directly with the Shamayim team. We will help them hone their activism and leadership skills, develop a plan on how to make animal advocacy a talking point on their campus, and supply them with the tools and funding necessary for tabling, serving vegan food, and other outreach activities.

  • URJ 6 Points Creative Arts Academy is looking for individuals that have a passion for the arts and Judaism to serve as counselors at a Residential camp in Westchester, PA. Counselors are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of campers ranging from going into 4th - 12th grade. As a counselor, you are working most directly with campers and work to make sure they are socially, emotionally, and physically safe. Counselors will assist in supporting campers in their artistic growth during the summer and support campers on their Jewish journey.

    An ideal Counselor candidate is someone who has prior experience working with elementary, middle, or high school aged children in either a formal or informal setting.   • Located In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, 6 Points Sports Academy is looking for competent and energetic applicants who demonstrate a love of working with young people, a desire to help build a community, and a deep passion for sports. Counselors are directly responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of all campers in their dorm group as well as responsible for improving the athletic skills and abilities of the campers within their respective sport major.   • URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy is looking for enthusiastic individuals with an interest in STEM to serve as counselors at a residential Reform Jewish camp outside of Boston, MA. Counselors are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of campers who attend Sci-Tech. As a counselor, your primary job is to take care of campers and ensure that they have a successful and amazing summer. Live/Work/Study in Israel

  • Dates: June 16 – July 2, 2024

    • Tuition: $2,800 USD / 4 credits

    • Eligibility: Open to undergraduates enrolled at North American colleges and universities

    • Tuition includes academic instruction, housing, lunch (Sunday to Friday), field trips, daily shuttle to/from Oranim College, and official transcript upon completion of program

    • Participants will lodge in a renovated historic hotel in Haifa’s lively downtown port area, equipped with kitchen facility

    • Students are responsible for their own international travel to/from Israel

  • The JUF TOV Volunteer Network is running a summer trip to Israel designed to help our local Chicago community be of service, lend support, and show our compassion for the people of Israel. A significant part of the day will be dedicated to volunteering. The remainder of the time will include meeting with a variety of locals and experts who can provide insight on issues facing Israel today.
