The Luba and Bernard Friedman Base Loop is in the heart of Chicago's Fulton Market neighborhood, just next to the West Loop. Surrounded by delicious restaurants and fun spots for a night out in our great city, Base Loop is a Jewish oasis where everyone is invited to have a seat at our table. You will be treated with fresh baked hallah or pita and you can dip it in our fresh (in-house) hummus. Most importantly, you will be served up warm and delicious Jewish connections with Rav Ezra, Laura, and everyone else you meet around the table. Spirituality, tradition (whether from our Ashkenazi side or Sephari side), music, Israel and Zionism are the vibes that flow through our space. We are proud of who we are and where we come from. And we curate our space for others to explore their relationship with our ancient traditions and modern styles. When people come to our Base, we don't just welcome them, we say "welcome home."
