Talia Barton is the Jewish Life Associate for MCH’s Specialty Schools.
She studied Art and Art History at NYU, where she was involved with the Bronfman Center Hillel as a communications and JLF intern. During college, she also organized DIY music showcases in her apartment, worked as a freelance photographer, and interned with several Jewish nonprofits and artist representation agencies.
After graduating, Talia moved to Australia, where she spent three years living between Australia and Southeast Asia while working on boats, before eventually making her way to New Zealand.
Talia is passionate about Southern American Jewish history, historic Jewish communities, Jewish food, and Jewish joy. She is always looking for opportunities to meet new people, pick up creative skills, spend time outdoors, and discover her next great historical fiction read.
